A stunning 24" square table topper made and designed by Gina Gempesaw with pieced background blocks and pieced and appliquéd circles. First, prepare four circles using the same four-patch method as in the quilt above and fussy cut a peony for the center of the table toppert. Then, following Gina's instructions and helpful diagrams, make sixteen blocks and join them into 4 four-block units. Fuse and appliqué the four pieced circles to these four units with a decorative stitch. Join the four units into a 20½" background unit. Appliqué the peony circle to the center of the table topper. To finish, add the two outer borders, layer, quilt, and bind. Download this awesome pattern for free below.
