A stunning 24" square table topper made and designed by Gina Gempesaw with pieced background blocks and pieced and appliquéd circles. First, prepare four circles using the same four-patch method as in the quilt above and fussy cut a peony for the center of the table toppert. Then, following Gina's instructions and helpful diagrams, make sixteen blocks and join them into 4 four-block units. Fuse and appliqué the four pieced circles to these four units with a decorative stitch. Join the four units into a 20½" background unit. Appliqué the peony circle to the center of the table topper.
