Earth Day 2022: Recycle your fabric! (Fabric scraps and old clothing)
 Hello Creative Community! Let’s talk about the importance of recycling our fabrics.
Certainly, we want to make items that will be in our lives for a long time (anyone out there still sleeping under a quilt your grandmother made?), but not everything is built to last forever, and ever, and ever. When our textile items reach the point of no reuse, you might want to consider donating them to a company that will recycle them for you. Over the past 5 or so years more and more companies are developing recycling and incentive programs for people recycling clothing, denim and shoes, we’ll list some below, but even better there are companies that will take any type of textile scraps, even those generated while quilting!
