The Making of a Gift Series #003
Hi Creative Friends, Gift idea #003 coming your way! This one is a No Sew (or Low Sew) project: Yarn Dyed Scarves. People are often surprised how little effort can go into a scarf, honestly, the hardest part is choosing your favorite fabric!! Cathy has made up a tutorial in case you feel like sewing (err, creating) along with her for 5 min, yep thats all the time this project takes!! Get the project sheet HERE Click HERE for the Tutorial Shop Flannel Fabrics HERE Find all of your other supplies at SmileSpinners.com or in store I think the obvious gifting pair up here is a coat or gloves, but unless you have a bunch of left hand gloves from losing them year after year, you're probably well stocked, same for coats, so we thought, why not pair your gift with an experience? We've missed spending actual face to face time together in the last 2 years, so why not invite your scarf recipient out to dinner? Mangia Qui has been blocking off the street outside of their Harrisburg restaurant so patrons can dine under the twinkling lights al fresco, sometimes theres even live music! Maybe a frosty activity is more your speed, let me recommend the ice rink at the Giant Center in Hershey. It's open for public skating most weekends! And if a casual stroll through the crisp fall & winter air seems like the right way to enjoy some quality time with someone you love, might we recommend doing a loop or two around Italian Lake in Harrisburg.
