Workshop, Learn to Quilt! Session #2 Piecing Begins!



Workshop Format: Let's Start to Quilt 

In this class we will start to apply the skills we have learned in previous classes to create a table topper or a small wall hanging! It's time to start to utilize many of the basic skills you learned in earlier skill builders!

Session #1: 
     - Choosing your pattern
     - Choosing fabrics
     - Cutting your fabrics

Session#2: 
     - Construction Begins: Let's start to sew those pieces together!

Session#3:
     - Let's add Borders

Supplies Needed: 
     Pattern: FREE from Smile Spinners
     Fabric - amounts needed will vary. 
     Thread 

Tools Needed: Basic sewing supplies
     Rotary cutter - Olfa 45 or 60 mm with self retracting blade recommended
     Ruler: 6 X 24 - Omni grip ruler recommended
     Scissors
     Pins: glass heads, 1.25 length, .5mm pin thickness
     Sewing machine with new needle, Schmetz Sharp 80/12. 

Skill builders recommended: Cutting, Learn to Quilt, Choosing pattern and Fabric
