Our focus in October will be Sewing with a twin needle.
General information about the specialty technique classes:
- All levels of machines are welcome!
- Demo/Workshop format
- Each month we will explore a different specialty technique that your fabulous machine can perform.
- We will teach you how to perform the technique and show you how to use your new found skills in projects!
- These classes are designed to be eye opening and mind blowing! We will have you jumping up and down with joy! We will send your creativity meter off the scale!
October: In this class we will explore:
- Twin needles, sizes, types
- Threading of your machine
- Uses for twin needles to include hemming
- Cautions when using twin needles
Tools/Supplies needed: If you want to sew along
- General sewing supplies: scissors, pins, rotary cutter, ruler, variety of sewing machine needles, marking pen/chalk
- Sewing machine and user manual
- Sewing machine feet
