Project! Embroidered Ornaments!

Project: Ornaments, Snowflakes, Santas, Sayings....
Class: Practice makes perfect! Beginner project, Positioning the design
Format: Lecture/ Demo and Hands on if you bring your machine.

You have all heard the saying "practice makes perfect"! That is the purpose of this class, PRACTICE! The more you repeat a skill the easier it becomes! I recently pondered this saying by Aristotle, "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."

In this class you will be embroidering ornaments that will fit beautifully in SmileSpinner's Snow Globe Tree! Or use them in another project because you are the designer!

• Have you ever had a problem getting a design to stitch out in the correct location?
• Not sure how to use that gridded thing that comes with your hoop?
• Not sure how to a rotate design?

Pfaff has had the ability to Precisely Position designs for about 20 years! I think Pfaff's first machines to have this feature was the 2144. I remember that prior to that feature, design positioning was very difficult. If you are embroidering on a Pfaff, using Precise Positioning is quick and easy way to position your designs correctly every time!

In class, we will be demonstrating on the Creative Icon.  Many of the items we will discuss, will apply to other embroidery machines.

Tools Needed:
- Your Embroidery Machine
- Variety of hoops
- A USB stick
- Scissors
- Thread
- Fabric
