Join us to learn about sewing with knits! While working with them is easy, foundational knowledge is essential! Smile Spinners is known for doing things a little differently and sewing with knits is no different. It is sew much more than just about changing your needle to a ballpoint and setting your machine to a stretch stitch. Together we will explore, knit construction, review fiber types and we will teach you how to choose the best stitches, needles and other equipment to make a successful project!
Fabric Swatches of a variety of knits will be sent to you. Be sure you sign up early so you have time to receive the swatches!
About Zoom:
Please note that you will need to have access to the Zoom platform via website or app. We would prefer that you join us on a tablet or smart phone for best results.
Log-in info with a code will be sent to you prior to class. The code is needed to be admitted to the classroom.
You will be admitted to the classroom 5 minutes prior to the start of class.
