Join us to learn about sewing with knits! While working with them is easy, foundational knowledge is essential! Smile Spinners is known for doing things a little differently and sewing with knits is no different. It is sew much more than just about changing your needle to a ballpoint and setting your machine to a stretch stitch. Together we will explore, knit construction, review fiber types and we will teach you how to choose the best stitches, needles and other equipment to make a successful project!

| Instructor Bio: | Jessica holds a Bachelor's Degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Her focus of study included fashion design, tailoring, draping / pattern design, fabric development and production management. After graduation she worked in the fashion design industry in NYC for 10 years before returning to Central PA. |
