Lecture/Demo/Skills Lab
One of the most feared parts of making a quilt is the quilting. New sewing machine features makes it easier than ever to achieve awesome results with much less practice!
Here are just a few of the things we will discuss in this class that will make quilting much less scary. What batting do I choose? What thread is best? How should that thread spool off through my machine? How do I hold my layers together? How do I mark my quilt? How do I set-up my machine for straight line quilting and free motion quilting? How do I achieve a consistent stitch length if my feed dogs are down?

Part 2: Workshop included in this session: practice free motion quilting skills
