In class, we look inside a machine to learn how things really work and why it is sew important to understand your machine! Features; Do I need that? Which features do I really need and which ones are marketing hype? Tension; Why tension problems are usually user issues. Needles; Which one do I choose? Needle positions; Why do we move our needles? Presser foot pressure; How and why to adjust it. Maintenance; How to get rid of all that fuzz. To oil or not to oil that is the question?
Arm yourself with information and make working with your sewing machine a partnership instead of a frustrating hassle.
This class is encouraged as "Pre-Recommended" for many intermediate and advanced level lectures and project workshops.
