Workshop, Vogue 1569, Misses' Tabard/Beach Cover-up (2 sessions)

Workshop Format: Garment Construction

We first made this garment for winter out of heavier fabrics and I must admit there were some parts of the design that weren't my favorite. With some modifications, actually I took my red pen to the design we have made this into a really cute beach cover-up with a casing and draw string and a large neck opening.

This garment is very simple to construct. It is a loose-fitting, pullover tabard with contrast side panels, tabs and a cowl neckline. It can be constructed out of medium weight knits or wovens, which leaves many design options. The pattern has two length variations to choose from.
