Machine Basics 112 - Stitch This *

Skill Builder: 112, Stitch This
Experience Needed: Beginner level

Take another step toward getting to know your machine. Further exploration of the ample abilities of your sewing machine brings us to stitches. Stop using only the straight stitch with your needle in the center position.

You have so many stitches at your disposal. Stitches per inch; How many stitches should you have during normal stitching and basting? Which stitch; Lets look at zig zags for satin stitching and blanket stitches. Buttonholes; How does the machine do that?  Buttons; How to stop sewing them by hand. Stabilizers; What are they and when and why do you use them? And sew much more!

This class is an elective course. Most electives are not required for further Lectures but don't let that stop you from taking this class!
